I've felt that struggle too.

I always worried that I was too deep-feeling and intense for a writing circle to be able to hold me. 

 

I always held myself back a little, in group settings. But that means my writing never left me feeling fully embodied or connected with myself.

I knew if I didn't create a space where I could feel safe to drop into my body and express myself honestly, that I would continue to crave that connection, with no healing and no empathy for my own experience because that's what holding in silence does to us: it makes us ashamed of what we hold and how we experience.

I'm a writer at heart who lives with complex trauma and a body that can feel really hard to love. It was my own longing for connection, expression and healing that led me to the Body Writers solution.

And so, I created this writing circle that became a healing circle.

Inside an intimate group, I gave myself permission to drop into my body, write what I held and be witnessed by sensitive womxn, and that made all the difference.

 

 After writing in Body Writers for over a year and leading the dozens of womxn who have been helped through this same experience, I know one thing for certain:

Reading your words is always about expression not perfection, so you never have to worry about your writing being judged. I know that's not easy but it gets easier and we (the group and me as your guide) have really and truly got you.

Who will be leading you?

I’m glad you asked.

I'm Jennifer - Certified Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapy Coach, Somatic Writing Coach and highly sensitive INFJ empath.


I've been helping deeply sensitive womxn resolve somatic trauma and come home to their bodies by writing what their bodies hold since 2019.

I am a life-long writer, covert narcissistic abuse and cptsd survivor, and lived with chronic conditions for most of my life before learning to write my way into peace and presence with my body. 

My work as a Somatic Coach centers self-exploratory writing that gives honest voice to what your body holds. I have a gift for helping sensitive womxn explore and express their deepest feelings. 

Inside Body Writers, I'll help you give your body a voice so you can heal your relationship with it and the stories and emotions it holds through a beautiful creative experience.
