In your heart you long for a writing circle, but probably worry that if you're honest about what your body holds, you'll be judged as "too much." 

That worry makes so much sense. After all, you’ve never been part of a group of deep-feeling writers, where you could feel seen and safe without having to sugarcoat anything your body wants to say. 

You want loving connection with your body, but without the safety of knowing you can express as your honest and deep-feeling self, that connection stays out of reach.

I've felt that concern too.

I always worried that I was too deep-feeling and intense for a writing circle to be able to hold me. 


After years of trauma and inner work, I longed to feel creatively connected again. I wanted to drop into my body and write, so I could find loving connection with my body.

I wanted the writing to feel creative, but I also wanted it to heal things inside me – deep-feeling, some might say intense things.

I knew if I didn't give my body honest voice that I would keep feeling brittle inside because that's what holding in silence does to us: it robs us of our softness and connection with ourselves.

I'm a writer at heart who lives with complex trauma and a highly sensitized nervous system. It was my own longing for body, writing, healing and magic that led me to the Body Writers solution.

Body Writers is an intimate writing circle where you'll be guided to drop into your body and write what your body holds. 

Each circle begins with a somatic drop in and read aloud of our Rules for Writing – easy to follow guidelines so you'll feel clear and comfortable writing from your body.

We do a timed write to an evocative prompt taken from a song lyric, after which you'll have the opportunity to read your words aloud. 

You are never required to share your writing, though doing so is part of our process and powerful. It's medicinal (and addictive) and brings somatic, beautiful shifts inside you that you'll be able to feel.

Reading your words is always about expression not perfection, so you never have to worry about your writing being judged. I know that's not easy but it gets easier and we (the group and me as your guide) have really and truly got you.

Who will be leading you?

I’m glad you asked.

I'm Jennifer - Certified Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapy Coach, Somatic Writing Coach and highly sensitive INFJ empath.


I've been helping deeply sensitive womxn resolve somatic trauma and come home to their bodies by writing what their bodies hold since 2019.

I am a life-long writer, covert narcissistic abuse and cptsd survivor, and lived with chronic conditions for most of my life before learning to write my way into peace and presence with my body. 

My work as a Somatic Coach centers self-exploratory writing that gives honest voice to what your body holds. I have a gift for helping sensitive womxn explore and express their deepest feelings. 

Inside Body Writers, I'll help you give your body a voice so you can heal your relationship with your body and the stories and emotions it holds through a beautiful creative experience.
