You want loving presence with your body.
But what you hold inside makes that feel impossible.
You believe that dropping into your body and writing out what you hold could bring you that presence...but it doesn't feel safe or particularly rewarding to write that way on your own.
You long for a writing circle, but probably worry that if you write honestly about your sensitivity, depth of feeling and what you hold that you'll be judged as "too much."
That worry makes so much sense. After all, you've never been part of a circle where you could feel seen and safe without having to sugarcoat anything your body wants to say.
You want loving presence with your body and to heal what you hold, but without the safety of knowing you can express as your deep-feeling, deeply sensitive self, both those things stay out of reach.
I've felt that anxiety too.
I always worried that I was too deep-feeling and intense for a writing circle to be able to hold me.
I longed for a space and a writing practice that would help me be present with my body, my somatic experience and my feelings. I wanted to feel guided, inspired and safe to write as my full-feeling, deeply sensitive self.
I knew without this space and practice that what I held would continue to eat me up inside and leave me with no compassion for my body, no healing and no capacity to be present with my feelings or sensations because that is exactly what denying ourselves honest voice as sensitive womxn does: it makes loving presence with our bodies impossible.
I live with complex trauma and a body it can feel really hard to love. It was my own longing that brought me to the Body Writers solution.

Body Writers is a safe space for sensitive womxn to drop into our bodies, write, share our words, be witnessed and through all that, cultivate a loving presence with our bodies that stays.
After writing inside Body Writers for nearly two years and hearing from the womxn who've been inspired, healed and helped through this same experience, I know one thing for certain:
Writing your body's honest response to evocative prompts and being witnessed in your writing is the most effective way to heal what you hold and cultivate a loving presence with your body that will stay.

Hate those writing circles that promise aaall the depth and healing…Only to underdeliver on the paid side of the fence? Me too.
Body Writers is not that kind of short-change experience. Nor is it a circle where you have to worry about being regarded as "too much" should you reveal your sensitivity and depth of emotion. Body Writers is a guided writing and healing circle you move through with a beautiful group, and you should be prepared for lovely, significant shifts – in how you relate to your body, voice and story.
Body Writers is a writing circle unlike any other.
You'll be guided to drop into your body, write to evocative prompts taken from song lyrics and supported in body check-ins for somatic integration – all while being celebrated for the deeply sensitive womxn you are.
While trauma-informed, Body Writers is intended only for sensitive womxn ready to give their bodies honest voice on the page. Sharing your words is always about expression not perfection so you never have to worry about your writing being judged. I know that's not easy to let in but it gets easier and we (the group and me as your guide) have really and truly got you.

I’m glad you asked.
I'm Jennifer - Certified Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapy Coach, Somatic Writing Coach and highly sensitive INFJ empath.
I've been helping deeply sensitive womxn resolve somatic trauma and come home to their bodies by writing what their bodies hold since 2019.
I am a life-long writer, covert narcissistic abuse and cptsd survivor, and lived with chronic conditions for most of my life before learning to write my way into peace and presence with my body.
My work as a Somatic Coach centers self-exploratory writing that gives honest voice to what your body holds. I have a gift for helping sensitive womxn explore and express their deepest feelings.
Inside Body Writers, I'll help you give your body a voice so you can cultivate loving presence with it through a beautiful creative experience.
